Emergency Brakes: Handle returns to "un-brake position"

Hi, I am assuming this is what you mean - remove that nut and take that bolt out? Is there anything else I should be aware of, like anything that should be loose / disengaged before removing that bolt and sliding the lever?

Emergency Brakes: Handle returns to "un-brake position"

Thank you for your fast answer. My son, to whom I sent my Ford A from FL, went ahead and took out the floor mat and send me the below images. We think that those 2 pieces are disengaged. The kind off "hook" needs to engage the piece that is below with "teeths". If we are correct, that piece have...

Mice got into rumble seat back cushion

For mice I use plastic containers (Tupperware) with holes on the lid and cotton inside cover with water, to which I pour a nice amount of peppermint oil. Place 2 per car inside and 2 underneath. I Leave the cars (2) in that way the full winter inside the barn. No mice nests at all and they...

Hi Jim Thank you very much for this long answer. I really do not have experience on this topic. Last time I sent a car to Florida was 20 years ago (son's used car) in a standard transportation company and all went fine. Nevertheless, I see you do transport cars. Can you PM me so we can chat...

Water // Water pump issue ????

Hi all Today I finally added the grease to the water pump. My last step for this year maintenance. Went for a ride. Did 5 miles and when I stopped the engine back on my garage the radiator drainage tube started to drain the cooling fluid. Could be around 1-2 glasses of water. To give an idea...

    Water Soluble Grease

Thank you !! I will. I ordered the Snyder's water pump grease. Arriving this Friday. I will buy a new grease pump only for this grease that i will also use on the chasis. For the water pump I will first try the Finger Loading Technique and see how that results. Best !! Daniel

    Water Soluble Grease

Thank you for the tip !!!. I read that others just unscrew the grease fitting and add the grease with the finger to pack the grease and avoid over-greasing. If I do not find what I am looking for and I end using a "water proof grease" from the model A vendors or just the Marine lube many use...
