Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? If the car sits for a longer time with the fuel tap open, the carburetor leaks at the front. I've checked the float level, and I don't think it's too high. also replaced the small jet seals. float vavle is clean en blow in to it, it was close.

I have no choice not to bend it. Because if I don't bend it I can't screw it in because the bottom part touches the engine. (picture) I bent it a bit straighter and secured it with loctite. I only just saw your answer but thanks anyway.

just bought the car and it was leaking a lot! They had made a drip tray under it and it was full in no time.

I guess I have to bend it back first, because I can't screw it in like that...:rolleyes:

How important is the pipe? I think he's been driving without it for a while... anyone have a picture of where this is located?

I removed my oilpan from the model a. I found the pipe below in it. Threaded on one side. It looks like a pipe from a main bearing or something like that... But where do I put this? Does anyone have pictures of this?

Hi, which wire goes where on the generator? They had built a 12v alternator on it, I built this generator back on but I have no idea how to connect the wires.:D

just a double check. The cutout below is not polarity sensitive right? my ford is neg ground. The cutout with diode is polarity sensitive, I know that. But the mechanical one I started to doubt now. But I don't think so.
