    Brake and clutch Pedal

I believe your right. so I ordered a 39 clutch release arm. After removing the extension piece it looks like they just might line up. I had another guy look at the pedal system and he also said there is no bushings and things fit to snug for any bushing. I don't Know what to say about that. I...

    Brake and clutch Pedal

Someone added an 1.5 inch extension for the brake linkage. Putting more pressure on the pedal rod. The transmission clutch arm for the 39 leans to the left, would that kick it over by 1.5" ? Or would I be better off getting a complete Brake and clutch assembly for a 1939 with the transmission...

    Brake and clutch Pedal

I pickup a 1937 ford Humpback. The clutch pedal sticks and is slow to release. The pedal shaft seems to have slope were it goes through the mounting bracket. Any pressure on the shaft seems to cause the clutch pedal to bind up. Is there bushing there that I could replace? I don't see where...

    clutch pedal sticks

I believe I found the problem. The bushing in the mounting plate to the pedals is bad. pressure on either pedal puts the clutch pedal in a bind ( as it rides against the mounting plate). I don't understand why it would be worse when the motor was running, But thats what was happening. Now to...

    clutch pedal sticks

I recently Picked up a 1937 Ford Tudor Humpback. My problem is the clutch pedal sticks when releasing it, when in gear and the car running. About the time the clutch should engage the pedal stops. That's about 85% of the time. I replaced the clutch plate, pressure Plate, throw out Bearing and...

    motor mount issue

That is part of the problem. The smaller rubber had shoulders on both sides, so I did cut it off one side. That didn't help much. The larger rubber is 3/8ths to tall. Once they are together there is no threads left to install them.

    motor mount issue

You cans see the problem in this pic. The bolts are the same length. I contacted steel rubber products and the are refunding me.

    motor mount issue

Here is my old and new mounts. There is 7/16ths differences between the two. The bottom section has a rubber ring on both top and bottom. I removed the bottom ring, that saved me 1/8th". Bob Drake has longer bolts but only by 1/4". That would only put me 1/8th inch over the motor mount bracket...

    motor mount issue

I just installed my motor in my 1937 ford. I bought the mounts from steel rubber products. Every thing seemed to fit just fine until I inserted the bolts. they come up short. I discovered the rubber seems to be taller on both rubber pieces then my old ones I pulled out. The bolts are the same...
