Simple fix. Loosen the two bolts at hinge and one inside above the kick panel. Gently pry the hinge up using a 2x4 and pry bar. Mine only moved about 1/8" and hood sits down nice and flush to the cowel. Hope this helps.

Just finished installing tube shocks on front of 41 sedan. Ordered "Vintage" bolt on kit. It does not fit as advertised. Neither does anything from Speedway. Ended up bolting 2x3 tubing to frame then attached speedway upper mount to it just to clear the sway bar. Not pretty but it works. None of...
