1936 FORD sedan rear fenders wanted

Nitro, I have one but it would need quite a bit of repair. If your working on a 36 slant back though I have a "project" car that I am not going to be able to complete and have a ton of original and replacement parts.

    36 Slant Back project

Checking to see if there is any interest in a 36 Slant Back project that I am going to be unable to complete. It was a running/driving vehicle when I started. The body has been removed, new floor pans tacked in. The frame has been blasted and coated to protect it from rust. I have all the patch...

    36 wishbone on a 39 front end

Not sure..will have to look. The guy I got it from originally liked the set up but as he got older wanted a "softer" ride and went with Independant.

    36 wishbone on a 39 front end

The 39 bone is split but like someone previously posted I would have to bend the tubes to get them to mate with the Flat-O adapter. I am hoping that because the 36 was narrower at the frame x-piece that I won't have to bend anything, or at least bend them less.

    36 wishbone on a 39 front end

Dak Rat...Please bear with me, like i said i am new to all this and just getting off an 18 hour shift. The 39 front came with the spring and all attached. So I will be using, (hopefully) everything from the 39 except the split whishbone. If I am using the 39 spring, what area needs to be milled...

    36 wishbone on a 39 front end

Thanks for the response. I do have a complete machine shop available, (and more importantly the guys with the knowledge!) so a little milling should be no problem. I was afraid I would have to heat and "re-adjust" something which I really don't like to do.

    1937 Ford Slantback Tudor Sedan

I didn't want to make the post too long so I split it. The car is all orignal, all steel. The rear fenders are rough, but repairable if you are a metal worker or have one. My problem is I have too many projects, (38 chevy stake body all original I drive around in the summer, a 48 chevy PU all...

    1937 Ford Slantback Tudor Sedan

I'm sure you wouldn't be interested, but just in case...I was/am working on a 36 slant. It was a running/driving vehicle when I started. Currently it is completely torn down. The frame cross piece has been replaced with one from Flat-O to accept a c4 ******. I have collected numerous original...

    36 wishbone on a 39 front end

To start..I'm a "newbie" at all this and read any post that I think will help me, now and, during my build The amount of information I have found here is extrordinary ! My question is this, I was given a dropped axel out of a 39 that is all set up with disc brakes. The wishbones on the 39's...

    complete 36 rear

Sturgis, I didn't come here to get "bashed" ! I know and appreciate the value of keeping somethings original. I have a 38 Chevy 3/4 ton rack body and a 48 chevy PU both of which are completely stock and driven regularly. THIS particular one though, as stated earlier, is my daughters. I'm trying...

    complete 36 rear

Wow...Lot's to digest. The rear ratio and "hydraulic" brakes are my goal. Rotorwrench, where can I get some info on the conversion set / The C4 is already set up to go in. The previous "owner/builder" had already changed the support with a kit from Flat-O. I have the dropped front end with a...

    complete 36 rear

I failed to mention in my original post. Although I am running the original 21 stud, there is a ford c4 ****** in it. The car is for my daughter and the automatic is a better choice althoug I realize there is nothing wrong with the original, (other than driving the highway).

    complete 36 rear

Ok...Sturgis...I believe the original has 4.11's in it and that will not be adequate for the type of driving it will be used for. IF I keep the original rear...can I change the ratio ?? Going to the hydraulic conversion would be ok. As you can tell...I am new to all of this ?? Tks, Brett

    complete 36 rear

I tried searching the older posts but can not find the answer I am looking for. I am building a 36 Tudor and would like to put a "late model" rear in it, preferably with discs. I am runing the original 21 stud flatty so an 8" would probably sufice. Is there a list out there that gives the widths...
