Model T? headlights, not sure of details

I have a pair of headlights with lenses that are Ford script, but different. The cans are rusty, but probably restorable and seem to be all intact internally.

Set of 4 shocks and arms need info

Thanks for identifying these. I see now the arms are bent for the Model A fit. Are the shock bodies of any value for 1940 collector? Two were tested and adjusted to a Model A spec. for damping.

Set of 4 shocks and arms need info

I took this set of 4 shocks off a 1930 Model A, but I think they are from a V8 series in the 1930's? Looking for info on what they go on and what would be a fair selling price? Pair of arms are F-872 and F-937. I bought a set of Stipes, so these can go to a new home. Thank you for any...

AA engine splash pans extra hole

I see after Oct 1929 the engine splash pans, per the Judging Standards and Restoration guidelines, only have the rear side of the pans use the oil pan bolt at the rear to hold them up from the bottom on the engine side. The front side hole tab was removed. The 3 frame bolt holes remain intact...

Cast Iron drum brakes - Restoration finish?

I see the POR15 in a spray can costs almost $30. It does sound like it has a very good bond and is durable. I watched some videos and they do stress using metal etch or really good metal cleaner first to remove any oils. Interesting discussion of ideas.

Cast Iron drum brakes - Restoration finish?

Radiator paint is another idea, but the drums can get very hot and it may not hold up. My current old drums have so much built-up rust that pieces flake off just touching them. I am also still waiting for a definitive answer from tech detail folks at MAFCA as to the restoration standards...

Cast Iron drum brakes - Restoration finish?

I was thinking of Rust-oleum High heat like for BBQ grills up to 1200 degrees and says OK for automotive, too, but still curious what was really done by Ford originally before I do that.

Cast Iron drum brakes - Restoration finish?

I looked in the latest MAFCA Restoration Guidelines, but I could not find information on how to correctly finish the drums. I know originals for my 1930 were steel, but the guidelines do allow for new cast iron drums with only a slight deduction. Late 1931 they were revised to cast iron, as it...

    1930 Cabriolet door pulls

Here is a picture of the door pulls from the garnish above the door panels. Same as Fordor. The top 2 are chromed pot metal and have some uneven areas and gouges that look like they were made that way. They have a circle on the bottom with number 12 under a C with little circles around it...

1930 Cabriolet top or upholstery question strips?

And now after a very long wait and effort there is a top with the original reinforcing done as rectangles like the factory photo including at the rear landau. Waiting to see if judging reacts to a possible revision in the standards.
