    Broken wheel spoke

The spoke has a clean break near the middle. I can put the spoke back together and only a hair line crack shows but it comes apart again when driving. Can a spoke be replaced? I think that I will purchase a new tire and put the broken wheel back to being a spare tire. Sent from my iPhone...

    Vendors

I want to buy from a company that refuses to sell something of bad quality. I use Bratton’s because I have noticed items that they don’t offer. I appreciate that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you use Mounted Dripping Oil Catch Pans?

Are you talking about the rear main janitor? If so, I have one of those but never used it. The one that I ‘m talking about is much larger and yet it allows the oil and transmission fluid to be changed without removing drip tray. It is first rate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you use Mounted Dripping Oil Catch Pans?

I haven’t seen the one you are talking about. I will look it up to see how they compare. Apparently they weren’t available when Mike Kemp made the one that I have. I’ve owned it for a few years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you use Mounted Dripping Oil Catch Pans?

I purchased a very nice catch pan that was made by Mike Kemp from Mooresville,IN. He sells Omega leakless water pumps for Model A’s. He designed and manufactured several pans that fit under the engine and transmissions so that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway would let club members tour the...

Using a 12 volt Nappa coil with a 6 volt electrical system on Model A

I don’t know. What would happen if you use a 6 volt coil for a 12 volt system? I’m using the 12 volt with a 6 volt system. It works but there are some strange things happening. When I start the car the lights and horn work. After I take a nice ride, the lights and horn don’t work. Later...

Using a 12 volt Nappa coil with a 6 volt electrical system on Model A

That should work. The reason for using the Nappa 12 volt coil is that they don’t break down due to heat. This is for touring A’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Synthetic oil

You should have received a bonus but employers seldom think about rewarding an employee that uses his head and looks after the company. Payroll budgets should include discretionary funds for such things without management having to go to the Board of Directors for approval. If giving a bonus is...

    Synthetic oil

I used a high quality synthetic transmission fluid once but had to change back to the old 600 weight because the seals leaked. With the synthetic, shifting gears was the best ever. What a shame not to be able to use it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
