Hi Red,
Thats true and I put it on the hamb but it seems like that forum doesnt have nearly as many guys interested in the actual old stuff as they used to. It got no replies over there. At least you guys are good enough to respond and because of that, I apologize if I came off a bit short in my...
RedModelT,
I appreciate you taking the time. But if you read my post above it says I have not found a picture online (and yes, I do know about google) that looks anything like the manifold I bought. That is why I asked the question here. Please share the pic YOU found using your friend google of...
Thanks for the reply Jim. It definitely has not been modified in any way. Was hoping for some other pics of originals. I will keep checking back occasionally

I bought this yesterday and wonder if anyone can tell me if its an old, original intake? I cant find a pic online like this. It definitely isnt a new repro. Those have different lettering and full holes on the mounting surface. I want to run it on a lte 30’s early 40’s style ‘hotrod’ and want to...
Hi,
Searching for a 33 or 34 pitman arm. I have one that was ‘recersed’ so the ball faces away from the frame. I need an original that points the bLl inward toward the center of the car. Prefer one with a nice ball and splines.
Thanks,
Scott
Hi,
I am going through the same thing now. A engine to B trans for a little period roadster hot rod build. I wasn't planning on welding the two pans together for the same reason. I need to trim mine a bit to fit the A pan a little closer in the corners but didn't see the advantage to welding...
LIGHTBULB! I just had an A-HA moment. I couldnt get my head around it because I was assuming that it must be somehow connected to the frame. Thanks for bearing with me until I ‘got it’. I will do a post about how (if) my solid rear mounts work. It wont be until spring, at least.
Thanks,
Scott
Thanks for the picture Walkerlakeprinter. so where does it bolt to the frame? Is it somehow only secured to the thin lip of metal that protrudes out from the center crossmember? Sorry for being so full of questions. Maybe I should just order one and figure it out, but i want to make sure it...
So, does this auxilary bracket mount up inside the center crossmember and hang down to catch the u-joint cover? and the two bolts that hold the cover halves together now bolt up into this piece as opposed to just using a nut to hold the two halves together?
Seems reasonable if that's the case...
I have a B trans installed in my model A frame. I am surrently using the stock rear mounts with a spacer added to take up the width slack and the holes in the stock mounts are slotted to match up with the wider spacing on the B flywheel cover. I feel like a little extra support at the rear of...
