It would have been nice if it had had a longer head bolt so the head nut would stay tight and to remove the one that holds the clamp down.

Is there a easy way to remove the original distributor bushings in the housing. Also the best way to keep them from collapsing? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I have always liked the one piece one, but they both work!

Retarding the spark when starting engine was fine but when I went over half the travel advancing the spark the engine wanted to cut out. Any suggestions to the problem?

I have done it both ways, but when installing the engine back in the car I needed help to hold the engine straight to go back into the rear engine mounts. I hang the engine from my cherry picker from the spark plug holes and the engine won't hang straight so to install the engine back in myself...

My pickup is painted green over black, The color is 1949 GMC green. It is not Rock Moss, but when I had the bed apart the green was almost a match. If the sun shines on one side of it the green stands out but the other side almost looks black. Have had people comment on that at different shows!

Have heard of wrapping string around stud then reinstalling the nut!
