    1937 Pickup bed

I had a 37 pickup a while back but it was a Hot Rod. I was curious if the factory bed was steel over a wood subframe and painted the body color or black?

    *7" GE Headlights*

One of my headlights on my 37 pickup is starting to flicker. I've checked the switch and wire and see no issues. Have no idea how old they are so thought I would buy a new pair. With the info I see on the light I can't seem to find the same number doing a search. Need a little help guys. Thanks.

    Last time out this year

Nice looking pickup Byron. My wife and I took out 37 pickup out on Saturday as the temp was almost 60 and plenty of sunshine. This was the mildest summer I have seen in some years. Wonder what the winter has in store for us here in southern Indiana ???

*1937 Pickup Radiator Shell Lacing Kit*

I need to replace the lacing on the radiator shell and up by the windshield. Is it the same lacing for both area's with the double beads? Should I buy the rivet or screw kit? The old lacing has rivets.

No castle nuts. The cotter pins were tight going in. Better than the way it was with no cotter pins. Should be alright. I'll keep an eye on it.

Yeah....I remember the Kennedy boxes. This one is a Craftmans that my brother used when he worked as a machinist. I used it later on when I worked in a steel fabricating shop and it's still going strong.

    Death wobble

Went to a cruise-in today that was about 25 miles away. We drove on the highway and plenty of side roads with bumps, patches, and a few holes and no wobble. Of course this means nothing as I could have gotten lucky today. Only time will tell.

Ok....got the wishbone ball to pop down. The rubber ball is whole so I don't see a problem. Re-installed everything and put cotter pins in.

The old drawer cabinet in the pic was my grandfathers, then my fathers, then my older brothers, and now mine and we have all dabbled in cars through out the years. This old cabinet comes in handy as all the drawers are full of old nuts, bolts, screw, etc. I call it my junk box. Yesterday I...

Yup......I see now how I was fighting against myself. I always put the jack stands under the axle when I jack the truck up and never thought anything about it. After I get back from the hardware store tomorrow I'll put the jack stands under the frame. Does the rubber ball look ok ? I assume...

    Death wobble

Pulled the cover off the wishbone ball. There were no cotter pins in the bolts holding the cover on. The rubber ball seems to be in-tacked and not tore up. I could not get the wishbone to pop down even using a pry bar. I would move a little but would not drop down. I was wanting to get it...

I've got to cut grass today after work and a couple other honey do's. Tomorrow after work I'll pop the ball cover off and see what shape the rubber ball is in. Might as well clean the cover and paint it while it's off.
