I like it. It is different. I like to drive my A because it is different.The fabrication looks decent. The car looks decent. The price is reasonable. Someone expressed some personal skill. Agreed not for everyone. But I'm sure it made someone proud.

I have found it helpful to take a picture with my phone camera before I disassemble, then if I get stuck putting together I have a reference photo.

Sounds like you are not advancing the spark lever (on left), I suggest going on tube and find video "How to start a Model A." As others have said choke briefly to start then push choke back in and move spark lever down to mid-point. Enjoy your new A, Looks great so far.

Any suggestions for holding back starter brushes so end cap will go back on starter.

when i bought my A it had one mounted on fire wall on the left side of the steering column. It has worked fine as I open the door and turn the switch before I get in the car and turn it off after I get out. Not that inconvenient.

Like Katy said on my 41 the signal kit runs the rear wires off the brake light switch and you use the brake lights for the rear turn lights
