    led light question

I know a 12v led will work on a 6v system as I have done it before, but that was on a negative ground. As for the positive ground, if it's a simple single wire circuit (like running a single filament bulb) then I don't see why you can't hook it up normally, the led won't know which wire is...

    Removing paint from plates

I used easy off oven cleaner on one with good results, and wiped off the numbers on the second one, it really depends on how they stamped it and if they made any sort of indentation in the plate...or just used a stamp of some sort.

    Need Help fast.

I did pretty much the same thing as Tom, I used a little flux on both the filter and valve, then used a small butane torch and soldered the filter to the valve. It didn't take much heat, didn't use very much solder and held tight.

    Brattons new reflectors?

ok...so here's another question...I have noticed several people make comments about how cars coming towards them flash their lights because of how bright the new defectors are....isn't that a bad thing? I know I get irritated when a car goes past me with it's high's on, or stupid aftermarket...

A "feel good" story from Hershey

Thats awesome...When I was at Hershey 2 years ago I picked up a metal lock box about 1 foot by 1 foot by 2 feet tall from a older fellow for my 52 willy's truck. It was too heavy to drag around for half the day until lunch so I asked him if I could keep it there, he jokingly said yes, for a...

    Ampere meter reading

I was wondering the same thing....Mine also reads 8-10 amps during the day when charging, but goes to zero with all the lights on, while going down the road...and drops to negative 5-7 when not moving, but at idle...so thats normal then?

1st A was a 29 pick-up....about a month ago...I have driven it a few times, and spent a lot more time wandering out to the garage just to check on it, you know, to make sure its not lonely...lol....I have wanted one for over 30 years and finally got one ;-)

    Brattons new reflectors?

Has any one tried Bratton's newly tooled aluminum reflectors, part #17950? I know some people have had issues with re-pop reflectors from different companies and not being able to focus them right, it looks like Bratton's have built these ones to original ford specs to get rid of the focusing...
