Yes, that was my experience. A couple of the provided screws were a tiny bit too short to catch the threads of the brass inserts. Fortunately I had some longer slotted round-head screws lying around, which had the correct appearance. Doug

My calculations show that if you can cool the seal and heat the hub to get a temperature difference of 130 degrees Celsius ( 234 degrees F), the seal will slide right in. But doing that would be rather difficult... If will be a few weeks before I have a chance to try. Doug
