I had the same issue with the Float a Motor system. It seemed to throw the alignment of the engine off so that the crank no longer lined up and the pedals were all off as well. After some fiddling around with it, I gave up and went back to the original mounts. I didn't find much (if any)...
So the question is....where does one go to get a "good" cam? I have what is apparently one of the "questionable" cams. Two of the four lobes are the same and two are way off. Is there a reliable source? If so, who? Thanks.
I'm finally getting around the dealing with the slop in my Throttle Control Assembly on my '30 Town Sedan. Here's the issue. I figured there must be repro parts made for it right? Apparently not, since I've scoured the internet and only found some original Throttle Control Assemblies...

I have a 30 Town Sedan and am looking for a suitable cord/rope to use as a Robe Rail on the back of the front seat. I don't see anything suitable on any of the usual Model A parts sources. I've tried doing a general search on the Internet and most of the cord I'm seeing is too thin. Are there...
I'm replacing a Thermo-Quail with a standard Quail Cap on my 1930 Town Sedan (I now have a dash mounted temperature gauge). It appears that the Thermo-Quail has had some Dremel work done to fit it into the neck of the radiator. The new Quail cap doesn't fit. My question is should I follow...
I figured as much, but I can see the crusty stiff rubber lip touching the glass, and it looks like it going to start breaking off in pieces any time now. If it wasn't a huge project, I would replace it, but you've convinced me otherwise.
Thanks for the detailed explanation. The reason I posted this was to determine if it would really be worth the effort if the door panel (and all of the other aforementioned parts) had to be removed to access the rubber strip. I'll have to think long and hard about this. I'm leaning...
