1955 Ford Wagon side window channel

For my ‘56 ranch wagon, I used restoration specialties y526 in the 96” length for each window. I got it from them uncrimped (you have to ask for this). The uncrimped allows you make the bends without messing up the channel.

    Loss of Hot Rod Deluxe

I got the same letter about my Street Rodder subscription. I didn't like the options either, so I sent them an email and told them they owed me an extension on my Hot Rod subscription. They have agreed to do that. I hope Hot Rod survives.

I found that adding dynamat to the backside of the panels helped a lot in deadening the sound.

    55 Ford door adjustment

I have the Dennis Carpenter weatherstripping on my car. I might as well have no weatherstripping at all. I'm curious as to which dodge weatherstripping you used. I would love to change mine out if it made for a leak free door. Thanks!

56 2 Door Wagon, what weatherstripping did you use Rear Quarter Windows?

I used rubbing alcohol and a knife to clean up the mess. The driver's side windows were not hard to remove, but the previous owner had glued down the right side slider, and I cracked the glass getting it out. No big deal, it needed to be replaced anyway. The key is to go slow, and they come out...

56 2 Door Wagon, what weatherstripping did you use Rear Quarter Windows?

I didn't find it too wide, and there wasn't any interference. You need to get one end uncrimped so that the stainless and the fabric will bend together. If it's not uncrimped on one end the stainless beads will kink as you bend it.

56 2 Door Wagon, what weatherstripping did you use Rear Quarter Windows?

For the stationary window, I used Steele Rubber- part number 70-3598-99. I ordered 14ft to do both windows. For the sliders, I ordered from Restoration Specialties & Supply.
