Wood graining of dash....how or who?

They use their blending paper/sandpaper as a mask and then just rolled in the opposite direction withhttps://youtu.be/bJds30Cn8Hs their printing roller. Like doing all the angles on a 37 Plymouth or a 38 Dodge.

Wood graining of dash....how or who?

I will admit the videos on our website are very old. Also back in the day YouTube only had so much resolution you could upload. Most people's bandwidth could not handle Big files anyway. But we do think most folks will get an understanding of the process from them. Aerosol cans have come a...

Restoring steering wheel from broken pieces.

The PC-7 epoxy does work really nice. I have done about a dozen Packard wheels using it. Also, some of the Bumpe repair epoxies work well I don't have the name of what I used for it though. Still have some at the shop I'll have to find it. The Unimog wheel with the garden hose on it, I ended up...

I really do think the large format printers could do a good job. Not sure why I don't see more of that? Those new big printers have good pigmented ink in them that should last. The new vinyl really goes around corners well. Jdee

Yes that's what the blending paper is for"320 grit wet dry sanding paper". We don't usally cut the paper up though only on some odd patterns it helps. The main thing is to wipe away from the paper or the ink will dam up and leave a line, that makes the blending more work. Frog juice is used...

I would think the Vinyl wrap guys could make a stick on decal for you, using something like a 3M Control tack material. Maybe clear it with frog juice to get it to hold up. Jdee

The Pros do not use great big rollers much at all. Most all graining is done with the smaller rollers. It is super easy to get into corners with rollers. :D Jdee
