can someone tell me what size tubing to use on a stock 46 mercury and where does the fuel come out of a new tank. the new tank does not have a opening at the bottom. thank you

42.thank you for the pictures.my switch looks the same but i can not move shaft i think from sitting maybe 30 years it is stuck.can these be taken apart to be repaired.

my switch barley moves because of a cotter pin going throughthe stem on the switch,would you have a picture of the bottom of the switch so to compare ? also whitch hole in the firewall does the hose go through to the carburator ?

forgot to ask how much movement right to left does the switch move ? thanks again

does anybody know where the vacumm hoses go to on the switch? there is three ports on the switch and two on the motor,where do all three hoses connect to.i tryed to load pictures with no success.please help,thank you

tj, thank you for that info. auto stud,your info is very reasonable but in my sight doing it that way does'ent seam to line up with the top mount (in my line of sight}unless the top mount is relocated,is that what needs to be done?

i looked up 1970's front shocks made by monroe and they are to short,there extended length is 14.63". my top to bottom or center to center is 17'.

i am converting my 46 mercury to tube shocks,i have mounted the upper front mount but did not drill the hole in the front axle yet. i checked the distance between top mount center and where i think the hole in the axle for the lower mount should be is 17". a stock monroe shock for this car only...

i picked up some used 600x16 tires and plan on mounting them on 16"x4 1/2"rims with 600x16" tractor (implement tires) inner tubes, will this work?
