The one I saw was a 1960 Fairlane Business Sedan. It had the shelf in the rear in place of the backseat.

What was the last year for a Ford full size Business Sedan (no rear seat)? I've seen a 1960 but did they build them in 1961? If so I'm looking for photos of a 1961.

My '61 Fairlane is a switch delete and it did not have a plug there, just the same type of hole as your '59. I've heard of them possibly having plugs but I'm 99.9% sure my car never had one. My car was untouched when I bought it and they are missing on both sides.
