It's a 1949/1950 239 with the big truck two piece housing

I dropped the bell housing and that little cup like some the starter slides into popped out and dented and I couldn't make it go back in so I made a new one out of a dash clock

I don't know why the starter is grinding it never use to when I pulled it and looked the starter looked fine

That is awesome!!!!! I just hope I don't mess it up..

I can't use mine I messed up the gear housing on the bell housing and had to make a makeshift one so now the starter grinds the flywheel really badly

ok so today I went out and bought a 4 speed HD non synchro ******, Pressure plate, clutch disk and 6V starter for 175 dollars for the whole lot everything is in good working condition. My question is when you're hooking up the 6V starter to 12 volts do you wire it as if it were a 12V one or...

If I ever get a 1956 IHC ill probably put it in that or even another L if ever like I said, I wouldnt mind getting a 58-61 Travelall later down the road ill save it for that and turbo it, but for this project nostalgia is kinda what im looking for
