They look the same, but the horn button. I have a 39 Mercury horn button, but am wondering if it will swap into a 40 Ford wheel without modification.

Can anyone tell me if the 39 Mercury steering wheel the same as a 40 deluxe. If not, how much difference is there? They look awful close to the same.... Thanks

The tube (#01902) bolts to the housing (#8014), which in turn bolts to the bottom of the front fender below the headlights....if i remember correctly....
