yes a Modle A supplier has them to catch oil and keep it off the floor..located under the bell housing area

yes we tried to ..but not in same location where the work was done...so no help from builder

it was in the OIL CATCH BASIN small pan that fit under the bell housing to keep oil off the floor....so it was pushed out of the block I assume

H 25 only on one side

so how did you fix it? will the motor have to be torn down to put in another?...and what type are guys using now and where to get one pls....do have a oil leak and been leaking....motor is new maybe 1000 or less miles since total rebuild

Thanks for your input. The two piece shaft replaced the long one from my old distributor. When I removed the new distributor and placed it next to the old one they were not even close. The bottom half of the two piece is still in the engine...

After my Distributor Bushing dried up and froze the upper portion of the two piece shaft while at idle, the engine slowed down and died. When cranking the engine, the rotor didn't turn and there was a loud "thunk" at every cycle. After removing and inspecting the distributor, the bottom...

was there more than one rear end ratio for a model A car? and if so what ratios were std or any other one available?:D what ratios came standard in 30 Briggs?

Have some wheels out of round...where can I check into new or used wheels? w/ out haveing to straighten?....and if they need trued up who does that service? any one have some good used ones? Bluzrocker

any one have experience w/ RADIAL TIRES and running w/out tubes? ready to make decision about tires.. several ways to go standard $99 each with tubes..by various Mfgs...and mid range std type ....or radials w/ and w/ out tubes.... any member's have experience w/' new tires and where to get...

Now ...have to see what horn will work w/ 12 volt system? is original out of consideration at this point? or just now consider any 12 volt horn?:cool:

I had the seat out to put new steering box in and put it back in to see what this will take to install belts...and not a problem to drill holes for front in floor behind the front seat on the floor.....maybe use same hole for the two center ones...but to weave the belts through the seat frame...

anyone install seat belts? did some test fitting and looks like it's not going to be easy any one done this before? two front and two back?:eek:
