    Why coil ring & magnets with generator ?

    I got shocked bad once as a kid so usually stay away from the electrical area ...but rying to figure out why a T with generator needs a coil ring and magnets. If I can work my way thru this, might just get a T !!!

    Anybody know max width of newer ply tire that will work on a 16" Ford wire? Maybe it's tire mfgr dependent? I'm looking at 16x6.5 but think that might be pushing it by half an inch, maybe a little more.
