My 36 had the push-pin style holding what I believe were the remnants of the original pad. The aftermarket ones available are poor quality but can be made to work. I don't recall seeing any like those you have in your pics.

Agreed, Cutoff is a scammer he sent me that same number for parts he claimed he had a few days ago. Looks like he is saying it's another Barners number...I never replied.
Thats where guys like Matt at Iron Trap come in, they are saving these hoards and making them available to everyone in the hobby. He just a young guy too.

I purchased this spreader about 10 years ago, it works great. I was a novice with this process hence my justification for buying one. I'm more comfortable now using some of the other options/methods however make sure you understand what you are doing springs can be very dangerous

I think the 36 pickup they used the electric (same as car) Don Rogers has stated this in many older posts here, not the hydrostatic as in the 35's - those seem to be available on the auction sites. What source has new 36 electric type?
Yes, did just that and is what lead me to the gauge is the issue, everything else is working. Instrument Service in northern Illinois seems reasonable and will go thru the gauge for me, talked with them late this afternoon and seem very reasonable.
