Here is a 1933-34 Ford pickup steering column drop. It is tapered because the dash board is not straight above the steering column as it is in passenger cars. This one sold for $256 in 2016.

That second picture shows Jack's display at the LA Roadster Show when it was held at the Great Western Exhibit Center. I bought a hard-to-find 1934 Ford pickup splash apron from Jack in 1972 for $15.

The reproduction floorboard is correct. The oval hole is for a simple sheet metal inspection plate that allows access to the battery for maintanance and inspection. The floorboard must be removed to access the battery. The inspection plate used to be available from Model A parts dealers. That is...

Long ago i bought a poly tank for my 34 pickup. The manufacturer also supplied the filler. You sure "Tanks" doesn't carry a filler neck? The filler has to have a bend in it to avoid spillage. I've added a couple of photos to show the comparison with the original tank/filler. Here's the...

I recently posted this picture. But it shows how dual carbs and stock generator (although the one in the photo is one of Whitney's alternator conversions) can fit behind the tightest early Ford ('34 pickup) engine bay. The manifold is an Edlebrock "Regular". They haven't been made in a long...

It appears as if you are no longer interested in pure stock so let me recommend what I did with the 59AB in my 1934 pickup. I ordered an alternator from Ed Whitney after sending him an original 1934 generator as a core. It works just as I hoped. Here is what it looks like.

I have bought several antique auto trunks from eBay ads. However, I also do not like the look of a diamond-plate tollbox in a vintage pickup. Therefore I bought a smooth black toolbox from Northern. I'm not sure if they still stock this version but it is the best for security and convenience...

Your grille is for a 1934. It has the embossed protrusion on the top for the chrome bezel that extends to the radiator cap. The 1933 grille does not use a bezel and on the 1933 the Ford insignia fits into a simple embossed surround oval. On a 1933 grille the center reinforcement that supports...

Here are a couple of photos of a NOS toeboard that sold on eBay five years ago for $107.

I have used both 5.25-5.50 X 17 Goodyear diamond treads and (currently) 6.00 X 16 Goodyear diamond-tread tires on my '34 pickup. They FIT the wheel well. I do release some air from the 16 inch tires but they still FIT the stock wheel well.

PT plates are for "Pneumatic Trailer" not a motor vechicle.

It's amazing how many folks have opinions without actual experience. I put a 302 Ford in my 1934 pickup. I did NOT cut the firewall. I even used the mechanical fan. The secret was a Snow-White (Fresno CA) Opel water pump kit to replace the stock Ford water pump. I added a C4 auto trans so the...

David is correct about the rear bumpers on 1933-34 panel deliveries. I bought an assembly at the old Harrah's swapmeet in the 1970s. I installed it on my pickup and immediately realized it was too far away from the bed. Since I liked to use the box to haul things and really liked the low loading...

Love the comment sidevalve8ba made about the nice lady at Mack Hils in MO. When I ordered a new bed for my '34 pickup and she told me the price I said that was more than five times what I paid for the truck. She said "But you'll have a NEW bed!"

Here's a picture of the dash light bracket. It attaches behind the dashboard with the central screw that holds the dash board.

Thank heavens that in America a person can create a vehicle that pleases them. I have the best of both worlds. A stock appearing steel bed floor (in my Mack Hils reproduction bed). However, I love varnished wood, too. So I went with a Bruce Horkey "Show Deck" in rock maple. This is because I...
