I purchased this hub cap at a Swap Meet from a vendor who had it on his 1928 pickup. He said he never saw another one like it after years of searching so he sold it. It's wall art for me, but I'm curious of the history. Has anyone ever seen this accessory?

I assume. I tried a modern distributor with multiple ferrite rings placed on the cables, lead tape over cables and aluminum foil. Not separately, ALL AT ONCE and I still had interference that prevented the display from staying on. It would blink on and off. I finally just removed it at Oshkosh.

Thanks Tom. Another lesson learned. This is only the second Spring since the restoration was complete, but I was filling the U joint housing each Spring until grease appeared in the Speedo housing. Dave

Charlie, I'm running an 18 tooth gear on a 3.78 rear end. My speedometer is dead on with my Garmin using this gear. Dave

I discovered this while under the car this weekend. I didn't notice any crack when I installed it a year ago. Thoughts on the cause?
