Updraught , dont waste your time with trying to order from brattons directly. They decided years ago that they would not deal with Australia due to the time it took them to do the paperwork. It was their prerogative. If you really want Brattons parts in Australia , which sometimes were...

After having checked my bearing clearances I followed the instructions as set out in the leak proof pan gasket replacement article . I no longer have drips from the front crank pulley or the rear main. Since then I have put 2000 miles on the engine and there are still no drips. So it is possible...

My Engine builder highly respected in Massachusetts, suggested that to ensure the engines longevity that I inspect the bearings at 10000 miles just to be on the safe side.On my inspection all was o.k. I believe that most people don't do preventative maintenance on their engine bearings...

I don't think Adrian posts on this Forum. Nor do I believe he is interested in producing the gears for sale around the World. I could be wrong , but he is an extremely busy guy. He finds solutions and fixes to problems and makes improvements where required to old machines. He is a very...

So if , car manufacturers who produce in China bring their plants over to the mainland US , the prices of their products will increase dramatically. No more cheap electric cars , nor cheap prices for the millions and millions of parts and products manufactured there and imported into the US...

I also run 50 /50 anti freeze and have never had any corrosion on the cap internals

I thought she was a strange looking Guy.

I bought one from Brattons about 15 years ago .I am extremely happy with it. It has performed flawlessly over the years. A top quality repro Zenith 1. I dont know if the same people are making them still. I suggest you ask the vendor if the manufacturer has changed,

13000 miles on Goodyear's and only 1/3 of tread is worn.l expect to get over 30000 miles from them Rubber on side walls is still soft and pliable no cracks. The car drives beautifully on them. I checked out the price on them the other day, and got a shock at how expensive they are now.

Any Model A hates just being driven 3 or 4 times a year. The Model A's that run the best and have the least problems are those that are driven at least once a fortnight.Just like us humans we start to breakdown if we don't do regular exercise.

That T driver must have eyes in the back of his head if he is reversing uphill.

Hello Werner , I suggest that next time you purchase Goodyear tires. My car has 19' inch tires and has done 10500 miles.I still have 5mm of tread left on all tires. I am very happy with them as the Rubber is still pliable and without cracks. The White walls are still white and have not yellowed...

Sorry I did not notice the original post was so old.

Is your condenser making contact with the rotating cam ?

I have had Goodyears 19" on my coupe for 10 years and 10000 miles. The treads have hardly any wear and the rubber is still soft and pliable with no cracks in the rubber..They ride really well and look good. The white walls are still bright white. As previous posters have said , they...

Hello , From personal experience I can highly recommend J & M as the best engine builders in the business. I had the same problem with a block that they rebuilt for me. The engine has 10000 miles on it now . I only top the radiator up probably once a year to make up for any evaporation loss...

Hi Arnold , I bought my tires from Lucas Tires in LA. I highly recommend them . They went out of their way to help me with shipping the tires. I had them Air freighted. I am not sure about Sea freight though. When they arrived in Australia I had a local freight Forwarder do the import paper...
