    Axle coupler pin staking

Be careful on peeing over not to keep going too long smacking at it as it will just weaken the head. Also a pic showing the heat shrink sleeve I use.

    Right rear axle seal

Theres very little oil that would even make it to the seal. And the new seals are as tight A F . Ive just removed some recently and where still tight in there. I have gone through the heartache of when they're stuck in there. Lucky I have a mate thats a machinist and had to make a special tool...

Thanks Mac I was hoping you'd see the post. 2. So we're talking .010 difference.. geezzzz.. Umm well guess thats why I couldn't tell just a different "shape of the teeth" Now saying that they're not interchangeable is the problem as the gear is in and Ive been driving it with no problems...

I thought to myself I have another case and about 80% of parts to build another "spare - ready to go" trans . I...

Which syncro ring would you use?

Ive got a few syncro [blocker] rings in my box of goodies. These ones are "older" ones Ive collected. The newer looking ones have a gap of [roughly] .036 to second gear and the older are more like .026 . slightly different teeth shape, both seem to fit well. Which would you use??
