That sounds like a much better solution to dim 6 volt headlights. Where can I get the proper relays, how many are needed, and where are they added to the circuit. Is there a diagram for this adjustment?

Replacing Water Pumps on a stock '49 Ford

When removing the two bolts from the engine mount, the engine moved forward about 1/8 inch or so. The other 4 bolts on the pump came out just fine. Now the new pump holes for the engine mount don't line up. Will jacking up the engine under the oil pan fix that? If not, what is the solution?

    "49 Distributor Timing Issue

I have a distributor problem on my stock "49 Ford wagon. I am experiencing a power loss when I accelerate. I believe I have figured out the problem but I don’t know how to make the correction. Removing Windshield Frame from 1934 Tudor

My original windshield glass is delaminating and needs replacement. It seemed simple enough. Remove the two screws that hold the crank-out scissors from the frame and remove the 6 screws that hold the two top hinges to the frame. Once I did that both top hinges are stuck to the frame. I cannot...

What is the correct condenser rating?

I recently had several condensers tested for my 1949 stock flathead and they all registered .24 Microfarads. Is this a good reading? If not, what should be the correct reading for a "good" condenser?
