Definitely use your original one. It isn't that hard to strip the paint once you remove it. Also, the reproduction ones fit very poorly.

I am looking for a NOS or nice original 30-31 ignition key #1455. I talked with Doc Kalinka at Hershey but he didn't have that number. Who else might have this key? We will go with an A&L key if we have to but would rather have an original. Thanks

Okay. Can the end against the frame be either square or rounded on a late '31?

According to the Judging Standards, the front bumper arms changed from square ends to rounded ends in 1931. The square ones were used until mid-'31. The rounded ends could be used starting in early '31. What I don't understand is if this is referring to both ends or only one. Seaching...

How big of a problem is sticking valves? I have 3 model A's. They are sometimes driven frequently and sometimes set for months. I have never had a valve stick just using 87 octane pump gas mostly with alcohol. Dave

About any type of trash bag will work (others have mentioned doing it without a bag). I have found that the higher quality "Hefty" bags work even better than the generic ones I buy at the local farm store.

Since you are not concerned about the paint on your wheels, it really doesn't matter which method you choose. However, I think if you try the garbage bag method, you will realize that it takes no more effort than using a tire machine. It really is that easy.

I have 3 windshield frames. I am trying to figure out which of them is original (if any). Any help would be appreciated. They have almost identical dimensions. #1 & #3 have holes for finger pulls. #2 has none. #1 & #2 have almost a round cross section. #3 is more of an oval.
