Front Mono Spring on a '34 5W Coupe?

The stock springs had a rate of about 135 lbs per inch per side. The mono springs are about 500. It takes 1000 lbs to deflect them one inch. They also used to have problems suddenly breaking.

    Interesting Alu heads

I think they have been blasted. The spot facing for the studs has the same texture as the rest of the heads. They should be shinny.

There is no seal between the back of the transmission and the u joint. The transmission oil lubes the u joint. The zerk lubes the clamshell parts.

1932 model B pickup steering problem

The boxes are the worst design possible. There was no adjustment on the drag link so the steering was centered with the steering box. There is the usuall adjustment to move the sector back and forth. There is another that centers the steering. It is the strange adjustment on the upper right side...

    Odd dash

I wonder if it would fit a 32 roadster. It looks to mount with a flange like a 32.

    32 Ford Fan Clearance

Your manifold looks good to me. The 32 used a belt length all its own. CW Moss has them. You may not want to run a 32 intake. Only a 32 generator will fit. The gens have no provision for cooling. The end plates have no holes and the generator pulley has no fins.

For Sale Hollow adjustable lifters sealed.

I think they came from Speedway. I don't think they have sold the hollow ones for a while. The ones sold now just have hollowed out sides like the truck lifters. These are brand new and still sealed in the plastic. They look great. I found a set of original Johnson's so will use them.
