As someone who has driven a 32 pick-up many thousands of miles. I would suggest you look into mounting the body and bed on something besides the wooden blocks. Something along the lines of the rubber biscuits that 49-54, and later, Chevy pick-ups used.

They were NOT the Boling Bros. drums. And, I really don't want to say where I got them. I do by stuff from them.

The fronts are "late model" replacements, bought over the counter from my local Car Quest. The rears were the "USA" made, top Quality, out of V8 Parts catalog. I buy very few critical parts from Speedway.

The one additional thing that I would recommend to add to the process, is, after you've had the drums turned and shoes arced to fit, you take the drums and have them balanced. Went through this with my 5-window. New, F-100 frt brakes and drums and new r. brakes and drums, '40 Ford. Still had...

Having just bought a Vintique "original" shell, with radiator cap and bezel, and stainless trim pcs. I've found the same issue as Tom T, in that the holes for the bezel are just a "little" off to center and the curve is off for the stainless trim. The curve is too open and wants to buckle when...
