Does this sound like a good flathead build?

OK.....let's put an end to this 2nd guessing ********. I am the builder of the engine in question. I have 60 years of engine building. Tony ground the L-100 for me. I have 3 flatties with L-100s. I love the sound, and that is MY preference. Don't force yours on me. I told the original poster he...

1950 ford flathead 11" pressure plate flywheel clutch old trick

I have removed the center springs by using a cut-off wheel. You do not need to separate the pressure plate for removal.

    '48 Ford hood springs

This is a "for what it's worth" heads up. I changed the weak hood springs on my '48. I bought the replacements supplied by all the regular vendors, part #91A-16789. They were longer then the original springs, therefore the hood only opened half way up.

    Picture Show!

Ford38v8, Richard has done more to help guys out than you ever dreamed of. Your responses are generally condescending and down right mean. This one "Are you too good to follow the rules? " was totally Unnecessary. It made me sick!

    L100 camshaft

I have two from Cam Techniques. One in an 8BA in my '36. (running straight pipes, & I love it) And one in an 8BA I just finished building. I like the L100 idle better than an Isky #88 I have in another 8BA.
