Pictures of '36 sedan trunk (seal)??

Anyone have pictures of the trunk lid seal on a Sedan? We tried to install a new one, but are not sure if we installed correctly. Should the lip of the seal sit behind the trunk lid, or between lid and body? Although the latter doesn't make much sense I guess... Thx. Dennis Verstuurd vanaf...

What year transmission cover is this?🤔

Ah, to be clear: Steering wheel is left, we drive on the right side of the road. About horse transport: they're usually transported in Cargo planes and accompanied by 1 or 2 persons that take care for them during the flight. They're in accessable boxes on the main deck. I used...

Anyone with original '40 fuel sending unit?

https://youtu.be/JiRN6M3mOvY?si=W6IcXHRnwsoKXvQ4 Might be a bit hard to see, but at some positions the needle can be seen unsteady. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-S931B met Tapatalk

Anyone with original '40 fuel sending unit?

Thanks everyone. I did open up the sending unit. Took the mechanism out and sanded the points. I hooked it up to the original gauge and the indications were off. I adjusted it with the toothed wheel in the sending unit and in general the indications are ok now. Only thing is the slight...

Anyone with original '40 fuel sending unit?

Is there anyone here who is running the original heating coil type fuel sending unit and gauge? Just wanted to know if it's normal for the needle to wobble a bit around it's position... Dennis Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-S931B met Tapatalk

    40 Deluxe fuel gauge

I found this thread while testing an original '40 sending unit and gauge. I opened up the sending unit, took the mechanism out and cleaned the points. I read about the principle behind it, still can't quite understand it, but seems I got the unit going. Also adjusted it by the small toothed...

    '40 center driveshaft bearing

Thanks. Yeah, we were thinking the same. Making some tool with a large thread and washers and stuff. I suppose the bearing would just stay in place after getting it there... Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-S931B met Tapatalk

    '40 center driveshaft bearing

We're at the point of installing a new center driveshaft bearing on a '40. Trying to get a tool together to install it. Is it correct though that the grease fitting should protrude into the hole in the rubber from the bearing? Something about the thread holding the bearing in place? That...

Looking for '36 and '40 parts @ Hershey

Hi Gary, Yeah, I'm in Miami every now and then. That does sound good. I'm limited what I can take home to Europe though. The idea is to buy a car in Hershey and use it as a shipping 'container' for the large parts. Steering box, axle shafts, etc. Dennis Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-S931B met...
