If memory serves me correctly, in order for the dash lights to come on it's necessary to either put the parking lights or headlights on by manipulating the center switch on the steering wheel.

I agree with Cecil/WV. I've been using Kroil for years along with an application of a little acetylene heat and it has never failed me. If something is heavily rusted, wait a day or two before attempting to loosen. Peter

I agree with Ernstudet22. I used 3M contact cement on my original 32 and 35 boards with absolutely no issues at all.

I'm sure glad I don't have millions of dollars in my 32 5 window restoration. That's a ridiculously low price for a 32 in that condition.

For what it is worth, Rhode Island Wiring has been sold and has not reopened yet under the name of Small's Auto Wire with the same original phone #401-789-1955. The last time I dialed the number there was a message indicating they hoped to be able to begin taking orders around January 6, 2026.
