Replaced my carburetor...used copper line...going steel ASAP

The Early Ford V-8 Club's 1935-36 book states that the fuel lines were originally 1/4" copper coated steel. Roy Nacewicz supplies "Correct copper clad steel gas line for 1936-48 Fords". I wonder how many folks have seen these lines and mistakenly identified them as copper lines? Jim Wilson

    '35 / '36 Phaeton curtain pics

I agree, LB should be able to make curtains for a RHD car. The first shipment from LB includes, in addition to the paper patterns, the stanchion covers and the headers. These pieces have been made to fit a top that has not been modified, so when ordering a set of curtains for a chopped top...

    '35 / '36 Phaeton curtain pics

Shiny, the chopped top should not be a problem. LeBaron Bonney first sends you a set of paper patterns which you modify to match the openings of your car, and return to them. They say that each car is unique because of different windshield slant, rear bow positions, etc., and each set is custom...

    48- 755491

Dan, my 1936 phaeton is a work in progress. I bought it as a total basket case, with absolutely no wood and, based on some warped panels and melted brass fasteners in the top irons, it's likely it was in a fire. I'm restoring it to original, stock configuration, including mechanical brakes and...
