Finally got the truck back from upholsterer.

I don't know Karl,the way they are shaped and machined ,they look like they were made like that.I'm still researching them.But who knows you may me spot on.

I believe the mystery is solved,at least partially, 1set of brackets are for 1935-1936 Ford car snug rear bumper braces.The other set is 1939 front car bumper brackets.At this point the bumpers them selves are unknown.If anyone thinks I am wrong please speak up,I'm no expert.Pic of '39 front car...

Bumpers are not home made but there is no marking on them.I don't think I am going to have a use for them. Any idea what they would be worth?
