    Pinstriping T-wheels

Ok, that is also what I was wondering about, how could he find time for pinstriping, when cars were running that fast down the assembly line..? Could have been the early models, yes. But the yellow looked real old here, very cracked when looking close to it. Looked like good old quality...

    Pinstriping T-wheels

Hi! I've seen wheels with pinstriping like darts, both open and closed, but not filled with color like this one. The paint is cracked and old, but it is impossible to tell how old. Do you folks know if Henry ever did it this way, or is this more likely something that happened to it over the...

    Vintage Thrills & spills

"This car remarkably survived a collision with a utility pole in Cambridge, Mass - with just a mangled bumper to show for the crash". To me it looks like a model T with solid disc wheels. Looks like Henry did a great choice when he decided to build this little car in vanadium steel!

    2500 wonderful kilometers ahead...

Some of my model T buddies have now started their 2500 kilometers trip from Lindesnes down south in Norway, up to Nordkapp up north. I wish them good luck and happy days on the road! Unfortunately I could not join them this time, my T has not even made it to a driveable chassis yet..

    Dealer nameplate on Model T

Here's mine. I bought my T in parts, and this brass nameplate followed the papers. I didn't know where on the car it originally was mounted. I would guess either firewall or dash. If anyone know for sure, I'd be glad to know. Or maybe the location was entirely up to the dealer to decide?

My livingroom find. Definately no barn find..

Finally picked up my T. Or more correct, the remainings of something that once had been a T. The story goes like this: A friend of mine like to document old building traditions and detail quality work that was done in earlier days. This hobby of his brought him and his camera to this old...

    Buzz coil location

Good, liked to hear that, then the engine hopefully is about the same age as those other parts, will be exciting to take a look at the pedals. I had planned to go out there to pick up the parts today, but the seller had to go away for a couple of weeks. I probably will pick up the parts last...

    Buzz coil location

Very interesting! From the firewall it then looks like my T is produced some time after April 1923, but not later than December 1925. (Could be even older if set up with starter and generator). Since the frame then is without numbers, it will be very interesting to see what the engine looks...

    Buzz coil location

Thanks a lot! I'm going to pick up my project first coming weekend. Seller said he thought it was a 27, I now know from the 9 holes for the coils in the firewall this car is a 25 or older. I had already figured out the hood could not have been 1927 because of the few louvers, but you never know...

    Buzz coil location

I see from different pictures, some T's have the buzz coil located under the dash, with eight holes through the firewall. Some cars have a clean firewall, and the buzz coil seems to be mounted on the left side of the engine, probably bolted on to a bracket. Was this change of location related to...

    Vehicle identification located where?

Hi. I'm new to model T's. I've just made a deal, and will go to pick up what is left of a T two weeks from now. But I don't know where are the vehicle identification located on the T. I thought it was on the engine block. My engine has been changed, and doesn't fit the papers. From what I...

    160 A or B

Just a question: Doesn't all slant windows have indented firewalls? I just thought so, since my '31 is not a slant, but still has the indented firewall..? Steinar

    Vacuum bleeding hydraulic brakes?

Thanks for good info, but does this apply to my brakes? They are fixed at the opposite end of the cylinders, so I cannot see how I can do any adjustment else from turning the two adjustment bolts on the back side of the shields?

    Vacuum bleeding hydraulic brakes?

Problems don't usually show up alone, do they? When I took brake parts apart at rear axle, I clamped on a special tool on the flexible tube between the mastercylinder and the front/rear connection, to avoid fluid from leaking out while parts were apart. When I had put everything back in place, I...

    Vacuum bleeding hydraulic brakes?

I'll give it an other try, will put things back into place and bleed it like Patrick L / JoeWay suggest. If no air, it might be the mc as Charlie Stephens indicates. I'll be back when I know more. Until then, thanks to all!

    Vacuum bleeding hydraulic brakes?

They are adjusted, brakelinings are very close to the drum, I can feel and hear they are in touch with the drum. I have also adjusted them until they locked all the wheels, same thing happens, but pedal doesn't go all the way to the floor then, but still too deep on the first jump after bleeding.

    Vacuum bleeding hydraulic brakes?

I didn't think a lot when ordering new parts, I just sent a picture and a description of what I had, and this was what they come up with. I was thinking this would be an easy fix, since everything were already set up for a mastercylinder looking like this one. The parts supplier also told me...
