I converted to a 12 volt system, hence the different coil. I am getting spark from the coil wire, when the engine turns over.

I put a brand new coil in my model A. Now the engine isn't starting and the coil is heating up. The only thing I cant think of is the internal resistor is bad or my points arent opening? Am I on the right track here?

I have an 30-31 Fuel tank. Top is is good condition but the bottom is rusted through in approximately 4 small holes. Would be a good filler or repair and use. $50 plus shipping

Can you tell me how to correctly replace the pilot bearing in a 31 Model A? I have the transmission off but not sure if I need the flywheel off also. Thanks! -John

I have a car built in Canada and there are no numbers on the frame only the engine block. I had to have DMV here in California assign a vin to my vehicle.

You could also try Moss Motors, they have a good set that is reasonably priced.
