I would suggest changing the oil, I use Castrol 20/50 in FL heat, add MMO, 6 oz, and run it a couple hundred miles and do it again. Add MMO (Marvel Mystery Oil), to the gas tank as well, same amount on 10 gals. I did this when I purchased my '35 after sitting for many years and it did clear up...
