Sorry to hear this. Condolences to his family. He helped me with several modifications on my build.

Thanks!!

I am trying to locate a set of front bumper brackets for my 38 truck. Midwest Early Ford has discontinued them. What, if any, other years would be compatible along with bumpers?

Here are the final results on the other end.

I have the other end soaking now and will have those photos when it is done.

I found a great product that I want to share. If this has been discussed before, sorry. I know some of you may have found a better product, but I found this one to be simple and easy to use. I really don't like having a sand blasting cabinet as it takes up a lot of room in the shop and...

Thanks, that helps. Looks like about a 2" piece is missing from both sides.

Looking for the radiator baffles on both sides.

I looked and they are not attached to anything else. The previous owner had installed a 318 dodge engine in it and a different radiator so he had done lots of "modifications".

Trying to get the front parts together and after looking it seems as though the previous owner cut the radiator baffles off at the top. I got this truck as basically parts. Does anyone have any pictures of these parts. I am thinking not worth trying to make the ends and weld on. I looked on Ebay...

I believe around 2013 a Flex-a-lite brand fan was coming apart. Something about the rivets and construction. Also some that were aluminum blades were stress cracking with fatigue and failing. This is a Derale stainless steel fan that is rated to 8,000 rpm. The pulleys are 1 to 1 and I don't...

Thanks. I go to the supply house to the remnant section. The material are usually 1/2 the price per weight and I like to get big pieces to use to weld on to keep parts cooler. So I have a bunch laying around. I also have the lathe and mill to work with.

Yes, I have a spare block in the chassis and the radiator in it. I had to replace the firewall do to a previous owner hacking up the original. I went with an aftermarket one that gave me more room. I actually have the motor mounts 1" farther back. this allows me the room for this setup. I will...

Re: 8BA Fan Assembly More photos.

I just finished up a fan assembly for my 8Ba. Living in Arizona I wanted to use a better fan. I didn't want to put an electric fan behind my original radiator. I designed up this and made it. This will give me 1 1/4" between the fan and the radiator "on my setup". I am not happy with the bearing...

I wanted to share an issue that almost got me scammed on Facebook. I follow a lot of the Ford groups there and there are a lot of folks selling stuff. They seem to be plagued by scammers quite often. They have implemented rules that you have to write your name and the current date on a piece of...

That look pretty good. I will do a little more research into this product. Thanks

At what point would you get it applied?
