I'm doing my own upholstery and was wondering if anyone knows the finished dimensions of the seat bottom. Basically, what is the measurement from the frame base to the cushioned top so I can make sure the springs are properly compressed in the front and the back. Thanks!

B&S: Thanks for the details! I'll give that a try. I'm still not understanding what caused the change from before I changed the PVs. The airflows were very close to each other during that tune, and now one carb sounds like a jet and the other barely sucks my hand in when I cover it.

I have the liquid bulb type sending unit. The bulb goes into the head, the nut then threads into the head. How is it sealed between the free floating nut and the tube? Am I missing a rubber flange or something?
