Hi Guys I have a worn out 46 Ford RH Window regulator, I have spent at least 3 days trying to get it work but worn out gears are making it difficult. So my question is can I use a 46-48 Coupe/Sedan Door Window regulator, I realize I will have to drill some new regulator mount holes...

Re: ‘46 Trunk handle won’t lock Hi 51 Woodie Well the way you lock your handle sounds a lot like mine, maybe that's just the way it is and accept it, just seemed strange to me Thank you Bill

Re: ‘46 Trunk handle won’t lock I Have just fitted an NOS Barrel into a used but good handle, I am still trying to figure out how it works . You turn the key one way, then the other way and sometimes it locks, almost as if it has a mind of it's own when it wants to lock or not. Grrrrrrrrr Bill

I have everything including including the Barrel and key in two pieces.

Do you have the barrel & Keys to suit ?

I have a repro 46 Ford Trunk Handle that I bought a couple of yours ago , so I go to fit this handle and try to turn the key and the whole barrel & Key comes out in my hands in pieces, so after a couple of years no point in trying to get warranty, I ring up a couple of Repro Dealers and get...

Thanks guys for all the replies and ideas, I do have some JB Weld in the shop. When you buy a new cable like I did, the Hood Pull handle or knob is separate with no instructions, you would think it would be a simple task of pushing it on but maybe it comes of just as easy, so that's why I asked...

Thanks Guys I will use the 5 Minute Epoxy method. Unfortunately mine does not have a grub screw Regards Bill

How does the Knob go onto the Hood Cable on a 46 Ford, is it just a matter of pushing it on, I have waited 6 months for this T Handle Knob so I don't want to mess it up. Thanks in advance Bill

Put in a big order with Joe's and I couldn't ask for better service and it was shipped all the way to Oz without a problem. The complainent said he was going to deal with Macs from now on, nearly rolled around on the floor laughing. Bill

Hi OldGold360 Sent you a message a couple of days ago regarding the rear fender front pieces and how to pay you. Regards Bill

Use the 46 Chassis, I had a 41 Chassis under a 46 Convertible there are just minor differences and they all bolt on.

So Scott Drake, not Bob Drake phew, not that I have bought much recently from Bob Drake. Thanks for clearing that up Bill

Heard the other day that Bob Drakes has been sold to Holley and everything is being moved to Tennessee ? Bill in Oz

Ok, I have just bought an original style heater to suit a 46-48 Ford, so I am presuming it is still 6 Volt, so will I burn the motor out if I run it through a 12 volt system or will it just spin too fast and not heat the car efficiently. Aussie Bill

As we are airing horror stories, here is mine when you leave the ignition on while checking a faulty fuel pump, yes it will be rebuilt after my workshop gets rebuilt. http://aussierodding.altervista.org/My%20Hot%20Rods/46.Convertible.165.html Bill

Just found this via Dr Google. http://bradleyfloorpans.com

I have been buying a few 46 Ford parts this year from various people on Ford Barn and as I live in Australia shipping can get very expensive if you want it sent to your home. So I get everything sent to one location in Compton CA , it goes in a container and I get it delivered all in one go, I...
