    Wiper Motor problem

I was working on my mine over the weekend and through process of elimination, I discovered there was blockage in the metal line from the Manifold to the Firewall connection. Although I am not certain how that happened, after clearing it out out coupled with a few squirts of 3 & 1 oil, the...

    Flywheel Cover Oil Leak?

I had a feeling this would be the case. On the bright side, however I am hoping this was the root cause of the massive oil leak was experiencing.

    Flywheel Cover Oil Leak?

Update. Hopefully the photographs uploaded. I removed the oil pan and although everything looks really nice, it looks like I have a rear main that went out based on the fragments that I found. I guess the question of the day is is this a repair that can be made with the engine in the car or...

    Flywheel Cover Oil Leak?

Good day. Now that I got my clutch installed and shifting well again on to other problems. Although my engine barely leaks when not running and parked, after taking it out for a drive and parking it, I get this rather large pool of oil that appears to be pouring from the flywheel cover plate. I...

Thank you both for your valuable inputs. Given the benefits of the encapsulated springs, I will look at Bert's products. Will also take a look at Mike's as well.

    Fort Wayne Clutch

Good day. I will be replacing the pressure plate, clutch and throw out bearing for my 30 coupe. I understand Fort Wayne Clutch has an excellent reputation and I am looking at their complete kit (SKU: KT1523_R. Appears to be an excellent value also considering the $100 core refund. Has anyone...

    Clutch pedal question

I believe I have found the problem. Wish I could post a photo, but it’s giving me a hard time. But looking at the pressure plate, I have visibility of at least three fingers. The one to the far left is standing very proud compared to the other two which in-turn look very worn. Very uneven. At...

    Clutch pedal question

Gene-Jay, Really appreciate your inputs and if I can make it home from work before it gets too dark in my garage, my intent is to really conduct a close examination of the arm. If I am lucky, I will find a crack and the root cause. Jay, I have owned the car since Jan 2020 and initially, I...

    Clutch pedal question

Honestly, I cannot 100% confirm the arm is not cracked. Sure wish I could therefore I’d least would know what the problem is. I did place a small mirror to get a visual on the top where the pin is and could not see any cracks. I do plan on crawling under their with brighter. Lights to check...

    Clutch pedal question

I will take a look on the depth of the fingers. Sounds like this will be tricky with the Engine still in the car.

    Clutch pedal question

Crawled under the car, disconnected the adjustment arm from the pedal-I was able to move the arm up & down so I suspect the Trunnion is pretty worn. I will be ordering clutch adjuster Synders sells. Keeping my fingers crossed this bit of play was contributing to the problem.

    Clutch pedal question

JayJay, thank you very much for your explanation and agree I will need to work the 2nd part of the adjustment. So if I understand correctly, after I adjust the pedal to 1 inch of free play, the 2nd part involves removing the clevis pin and raising the arm to where the throw out bearing just off...
