I am trying to get my 37 ready for the summer season. Been having some cranking problems hot. Today I found the output side terminal of the solenoid is getting hot while cranking. Cables and starter are correct and new. Looking for a quality replacement solenoid. Who has the best available?

I want to upgrade my front brakes from the 39 ford brakes to the lincoln self energizing brakes. I see speedway has them for 475 and Thompsons Garage has them for 425. Anyone ever deal with Thompsons or can recommend the best place to get them?

Can I use a later fuel pump with the glass bowl on my 37 21 stud motor? Do I need to change the stand or intake for it to work or can I just bolt it on?

Cold outside today and am watching and old episode of Andy Griffith. In this one Otis the drunk got a car. Had a hole in the top of the door and from one shot I could see it had no door panel and also no window crank was visible.

When I did the Mitchell on my 37 I was curious if the trans matched the frame numbers. I was surprised to find the pad on the front was blank. No numbers at all. I cleaned the pad and sanded but it is just a plain casting there. Replacement case?
