the only timming marks that I have is a slot cut into the crank pulley and the pointer on the cam gear case cover. Question are those marks t.d.c. and what is base timing set at. I am having a heating problem under driving conditions and I was told that it might be my timing. Thanks Marlon

I am having trouble with the carb leaking fuel after shutdown. rebuilt the carb replaced all the seats and check ball in the power circuit and lowered my float level thinking it might have been to high, but it still dribbles fuel after a run when shut down. Looking for help Marlon

[/IMG]50 8BA board 060 over, 4" merc crank, stock cam, HEI dist, smoke and mirrors tri-power only running on the center carb, fuel lines and bases on the out side cards are sealed off for the time being. Just have to fit the C4 trans to it and put it back in the car.

I am using a chev HEI dist with Vacuum advance in my 8BA. Would this set-up use ported or manifold vacuum ? Thanks Marlon

now that I have had the rad cleaned out and the heater core rebuilt the engine rebuilt and before I fill it with coolant, has anyone used the Evans waterless coolant. Is it what they clam it is, is it worth the cost. Opinions please Marlon

Just pick up a nice 50 club coupe today but the motor has issues, lots of valve trains noise and low oil pressure. The last owner had replace the stock fuel pump with an electric one but did not plug the pump rod bushing. Question would there be much of an oil pressure loss with this bushing...
