What are you suppose to see with the instrument light? Mostly it shines down on the speedo. The rest of the gauges are in the dark. Like a friend of mine always says ( I'am not complaining, I'am just pointing out the bad stuff!)

I have a HA-C1 got the motor running but need to make new bushings and don't know how the brass shaft that the power goes to is insulated. Pictures of inner workings would be wonderful. The wiper motor came mostly taken apart. Thanks for your help.

What would be the easiest way to verify that engine was actually rebuilt? Looking at a potential purchase. Seller has no receipts. He was told it was all rebuilt when he bought it 8 years ago. I know pull the pan or head, don't want to do that. Light down the spark plug hole? Any suggestions?

When I open 1928 tudor door, the door strap comes around the windlace and folds it into the door opening and when you close door it gets caught inbetween the door and the door opening. Is this another thing that only happens to me?

Nov 1928 car. U-joint housing gasket doesn't fit no mater how many times I turn it. Service Bulletin says 2 bolt holes changed from 2 3/4 to 2 17/32 so the gaskets are slotted ok. My 2 corresponding holes are 2 15/16 center to center, Whatda????

Why is a thermostat so misunderstood? It opens on temp rise, closes at temp drop. It isn't ever going to keep you engine cool. It's made to allow the engine to come to operating temp quickly. Just because Model A suppliers sell them doesn't mean you need one! I took a pill, now I feel better!

Went on a 20 mile trip, longest yet, boiled over, took the radiator to the shop, the guy was all negative about fixing it. So got solder and flux from him. I'am doing it myself. Over half of the tubes are plugged. Well let you know how many leaks I have when I'am done!
