    Oil pan nut

I proceeded to change the oil on my 31 model and the bolt spun in the circular bushing. No leaks at this point but suspect I will have to drop the pan to correct this. I read there was a tool Mike's affordable sold to aid in holding the oil pump, would this be useful?

    Pertronix 40111 6V 1.5 ohm

Well appears the last around of rain has washed away the broad salt and I have a pertronix 40111 1.5 ohm 6V coil --epoxy filled to try out (suspect my oil filled coil might be my intermittent issue). With this coil, I believe it has a higher output voltage and would my spark plug gaps need...

    Hand control Model A

I saw a few photos of FDR behind the wheel of his Model A. Kind of wondering how they made the clutch hand controlled and how they shifted.... One hand on stick, one hand on hand controlled clutch ??? No hands on wheel?

One possible future for making reproduction parts

One possible future for making reproduction parts... 3D printing... I'm not sure what the status is with 3D printing of steel, iron, or aluminum, but it's only a matter of time, one would take old soda cans in a hopper and print an engine block... A V8 printed engine ...

    Rod vs Historically correct

Seems to me there are actually more folks who are younger that are learning to appreciate cars that are historically correct... I think in part due to several TV shows out there: "Chasing Classic cars" to name one of them. In one eposode, Paul Tuttle Jr. of the "American Choppers", enlisted...
