    Uvira Headlight Reflector Coating

Has anyone recently dealt with Uvira, the company in Oregon that refurbished headlight reflectors? Both of the two phone numbers I have for them are no longer in service. If Uvira is out of business, is there another company that uses the same process on reflectors?

    49-54 Generator Mounting

The several 49-53 generators I’ve handled have two ¼” locating holes. The rear hole works for my setup which is a single, wide-belt on a V8. What is the front hole for? The dual, narrow-belt setup or maybe a 6-cylinder?

    40 Ford Rear Hub

The 40 Ford rear hub has two snap ring grooves. Why? The outer one is familiar – it retains the grease seal. The inner one – positioned so it could retain the bearing - seems unnecessary. Is it used? Also, in searching the Green Book for information, I see the GB lists part 78-1184-B...

    Radius Rods: 37-40 vs 41

According to the parts books, 41 radius rods are different than the 37-40 ones. What's the difference? I have a pair which are about 68 inches long. I thought they were for 37-40. I know the 42-48s are much shorter, but what about the 41s?

    Red Primer Paint

I was planning to use a primer in the red oxide color because that color was used originally by Ford in 1932. Paint supplier here says its not available anymore - apparently discontinued a year or two ago. Is it really gone?

A pair of solid unbent front fender braces. Information taken from the Restoration Guidelines. $50 for the...

    Front Fender Braces ID

This pair of front fender braces is a mystery to me. They closely fit the contour of a Model A fender but the mounting to the frame is not typical Model A. I'm not a Model A expert so would like to know if these are Model A or something else. Thanks.

    Filling Hairline Steering Wheel Cracks

A post in a recent FB thread mentioned a specific very thin CA adhesive that would wick into hairline cracks. I was not able to find that post by a search. I’d appreciate getting that info as I now have a 32 steering wheel with several such cracks. Thanks!
