Say, anyone out there know of a diagram on how to mount the gas tank. I see there are some brackets and bolts with springs but no one can tell me all the parts involved or how it mounts in the frame and the tank. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Say, I am attempting to locate information on the solid metal mounting cushions/pads for the 42-48 convertibles that go between the body and frame. They are like the rubber cushions only they are metal. I think they are to 'stiffen' the body so it doesn't twist. I guess I need to know how...

Very solid, surface rust only, complete doors, opening hardware & window regulators (driver side still has glass) there is not a window channel for the passenger side glass $180 for the pair + shipping. These doors are heavy and shipping costs maybe an issue. Call 509-586-4636

We have rebuilt (6) pairs: they are all very smooth and are in very good working order. Stem shafts and main “Fan Gears” have been replaced where needed $250/pr + shipping. 509-586-4636 for questions.

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the 42-48 glove box locks between ford & mercury. I know the dashes have some differences with trim & the glove box is slanted but I am not certain about the lock. Any info would be appreciated.
