Are ALL the heads for Model A's cracked? Seems like every one I find has cracks somewhere.

Messing about with a 41 Ford, and need to know how to get the inner caps off. Do they just slip into the dist body? Distributor is still in the car, so I can't really see if there are any screws holding them in.

Fixing to tear apart my coupe and see why the clutch won't work. As far as ease of removal, which is less work? Pulling the engine, or pulling out the rear-end and transmission? All the front sheetmetal and the fenders are already off the car. It also has float-a-motor mounts at the bellhousing.

Maybe it's just newbie ignorance here, but I just brought home this engine that was in a friend of mine's AA truck. What's up with the serial number? Shouldn't it be AA-something? It doesn't look as though the pad has been machined.
